Hi, I’m Annabelle — a newer military spouse, holistic wellness coach, and the creator of The Grounded Spouse Method.

This isn’t just a program I built for others.
This is the path I’ve been walking myself — day by day, breath by breath.

My Story:

When I became a military spouse, I quickly learned that while we’re surrounded by community, the emotional weight we carry often goes unseen.

I didn’t expect how much stress would live in my body.
How much loneliness could creep in — even when I wasn’t physically alone.
And how hard it would be to take care of myself while navigating deployments, uncertainty, and constant change.

On top of that, I’d already spent years dealing with gut issues, anxiety, chronic stress, and cycles of burnout. I knew what it felt like to live in a body that constantly felt on edge — and I knew I didn’t want to stay in that place.

What I Did:

Before I ever became a coach, I became a student of my own healing.

Over the past few years, I’ve dedicated myself to studying:

  • The connection between gut health and mental health

  • Ayurveda, a holistic system that changed the way I care for myself

  • Nervous system regulation for long-term healing

  • Mindset work and sustainable self-care practices

I’ve learned from:

  • Brilliant teachers

  • Wise doctors

  • Heart-centered coaches

  • And most of all, from my own lived experience

Why I Created This Program

I’m still in the middle of this journey — and that’s exactly why I created The Grounded Spouse Method.

I built this for women like me:
Military spouses who are holding a lot — emotionally, mentally, physically — and need a space to come back to themselves.

This method is a living, breathing framework that blends what I’m learning, what’s supporting me, and what I’ve seen work for others.
It’s not about being an expert — it’s about creating tools that actually help, because I’m using them, too.

My Mission:

I know the feeling..

For a decade of my life, I struggled with chronic gut issues. During that time, I longed for someone who not only understood what I was going through but also had the knowledge to help me. I wanted someone who could guide me in healing my body and finding relief from my digestive symptoms. Along the way I found healers and teachers who helped me and I owe a great deal of gratitude to them. In January 2020, I made the decision to enroll in The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) with the goal of reclaiming my health and teaching others how to do the same. It was through this program that I was introduced to Ayurveda, which piqued my curiosity and ultimately led me to Maharishi International University. At this school, I delved into the world of Ayurvedic wellness, nutrition, pulse reading, and yoga. During my time on campus, I had the opportunity to consult with an Ayurvedic doctor. She identified my extensive history of digestive issues and thyroid condition simply by reading my pulse. This experience solidified my belief in the power of Ayurveda. By following the dietary and lifestyle recommendations tailored to my specific body type, I witnessed a remarkable improvement in my symptoms within a mere two weeks. Now I live a life free from gut issues, and I continue to embrace the Ayurvedic lifestyle to maintain balance in both my body and mind. My true passion lies in guiding others in their journey to heal from digestive ailments and live a life filled with happiness, lightness, and ease. I believe that everyone deserves to experience optimal well-being.
